"Hello! My name is Kathy
Hoffman. This is my tenth
year to serve as Librarian for Camey Elementary. I received my degree
from The University of South Alabama. Before becoming a librarian I taught
third grade in San Antonio and Irving, Texas. I stayed home for 2 years with
my son
before I came back and joined the staff here. My favorite children's author
at the moment is J.K. Rowling. If you have any questions about the library

Kindergarten - 1 book
1st Grade - 2 books
2nd Grade - 2 books
3rd Grade - 3 books
4th Grade - 3 books
5th Grade - 4 books
* Books are checked out for a two week period.
*Students with an overdue book may not check out
until the late book is returned.
*Students with a lost book may not check out until
the lost book is paid for.
* Books checked out for special classroom assignments
are not counted as part of the total number of books checked out.
* Students check out books any time that they would
like. The library is always open and they come and go as they want with
their teacher's permission.

Our collections currently contains the following:
Easy Books - 2,775
Fiction Books - 2,575
Non-Fiction Books - 4,628
and various Paperbacks, Reference and Professional
books for a total of - 12,094 titles.
