L.E.A.P. (Learning Enrichment Academic Program) is a program offered
in Lewisville I.S.D. that serves elementary students in 1st - 5th grades
who have been identified as gifted and talented. This program is a combination
regular classroom/pull-out program available on all campuses in L.I.S.D.
The regular classroom teacher and the L.E.A.P. facilitator use differentiated
strategies to meet the needs of these students. In order to qualify for
the L.E.A.P. program students must complete a battery of tests. Students
in grades 1 - 5 are tested throughout the school year, while K students
are tested only during the spring semester. Teachers and/or parents may
recommend a student for testing. If you have any questions regarding the
