Cases of FLU are appearing on our campus and we need your support to help us prevent the spread of the FLU. If your child appears ill, please keep him/her home.

Your child MUST be fever free (less than 100 degrees), without the use of fever reducing medications, for 24 hours before returning to school.

Do NOT use aspirin.

The state of Texas has set up a phone line that you may call for detailed flu information,dial 2-1-1. You may also refer to the LISD web site for information and important links to keep informed on the FLU.

Parkway Elementary School was built in 1995. Parkway Elementary received Gold Performance Acknowledgments from the Texas Education Agency in 2006-07 for Commended on Writing and Science. In 2006, Parkway Elementary was named an Honor Roll School for the Texas Business and Education Coalition.
