In Lewisville, kindergarten students learn through active participation with other children, adults and educational materials. The all-day design assures that each child is mentally and physically active, with sufficient opportunities to explore and be successful in his or her learning. The teacher facilitates optimum student engagement.

The kindergarten day allows children time to explore with hands-on, integrated curriculum experiences. The daily schedule includes time for the core subjects: language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. Students also participate in such classes as art, music and physical education. The children have lunch and recess each day.
