Timber Creek Elementary, established in 1978, provides a variety of opportunities for all students to achieve success. The teachers work with students to help them reach their potential through reading, writing, mathematics, social studies and science. The library and computer lab are connected, which allows for research and follow through in producing final products.
The major focus in helping students to be prepared for success is based on the life skill words – prompt, prepared, polite, problem solvers. Along with our life skills words the students say a pledge each morning promising to do their best in their actions toward others.
Timber Creek Elementary is a great place to be! The staff is committed to a research-based approach to programming that includes diverse learners in challenging and engaging learning environments.
Timber Creek Elementary received Gold Performance Acknowledgments in 2006-07 for: Attendance (05-06); Commended on Reading/ELA; and Commended on Science.
