Southridge Elementary was built in 1999. The school serves students who reside primarily in Lewisville. Southridge Rockets are consistently encouraged to "soar towards success." Students are acknowledged not only for good grades and excellent attendance, but also for demonstrating character traits such as responsibility, respect, sharing, fairness and positive attitude. Students in all grades learn Microsoft PowerPoint and showcase their talents at the "Techno Expo" during Open House. Southridge Elementary received Gold Performance Acknowledgments from the Texas Education Agency in 2005-06 for: Commended on Reading/ELA and Commended on Science.
