Killough LHS North was originally opened in 1997, and occupied Milliken Middle School, which was built in 1977. The new campus was completed in August, 2005. The school is the only ninth grade campus in the District and serves all the freshmen who are to attend Lewisville High School. Killough LHS North has developed "Particular to Ninth Grade" policies and practices. Killough LHS North (formerly Lewisville HS North) received Gold Performance Acknowledgments from the Texas Education Agency in 2006-07 for: Attendance (2005-06); Commended on Reading/ELA; and Comparable Improvement in Reading/ELA and Mathematics.
