Husky tradition began in 1997 and is still going strong. The Husky pride manifests itself through the awesome students who are involved in the spectacular academic, athletic and fine arts programs that are offered. Huffines' students, parents and staff continually strive to be the head of the pack. While maintaining Recognized ratings from the Texas Education Agency, our co-curricular and extracurricular programs continue to be award winniing each year. Huffines Middle School received Gold Performance Acknowledgments in 2006-07 for: Commended on Reading/ELA and Writing; and Comparable Improvement - Mathematics.
