Since our opening in 1999, Homestead Elementary has provided a caring, supportive atmosphere for young learners in kindergarten through fifth grade. Using the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, our teachers plan lessons that make learning fun and memorable! With parent support, our students learn and grow into happy, responsible community members. Homestead Elementary received Gold Performance Acknowledgments from the Texas Education Agency in 2005-06 for: Attendance (2004-05); Commended on Reading/ELA; Commended on Mathematics; and Commended on Writing.
