Hebron High School opened its doors in August, 1999. The school received the Texas Successful School Award in 2001. Over twenty of its current and former students have the distinction of receiving National Merit Scholar recognition. Hebron High's extra-curricular programs distinguish themselves as well. Both the Fine Arts and athletic competition groups excel at district and state level competitions. The success of all these groups has led to the development of a positive school culture and tradition for Hebron High's students and community. Hebron HS received Gold Performance Acknowledgments from the Texas Education Agency in 2006-07 for: Commended on Reading/ELA; Commended on Social Studies; Comparable Improvement-Reading/ELA; and Texas Success Initiative ELA.
