Forest Vista Elementary School was built in 1997. Since our opening, we have remained an Exemplary campus as recognized by the Texas Education Agency. We offer students many opportunities for success and recognition through programs such as “Eagle Eyes,” “Accelerated Reader,” fifth grade student choir, chimes choir, creative drama and the fifth grade Buddies program. Forest Vista also participates in Jump Rope for Heart and the FVE Walking for Wellness Program. Forest Vista Elementary received Gold Performance Acknowledgements from the Texas Education Agency in 2006-07 for: Attendance (05-06); Commended on Reading/ELA, Writing, Mathematics and Science; and Comparable Improvement - Reading/ELA.
