Donald Elementary School was built in 1989. Donald was very proud to be named a Texas Blue Ribbon School in 2006. We have been nominated to Washington D.C. for the No Child Left Behind National Blue Ribbon School Award. The school has a P.E.P. Squad (Parents as Educational Partners Volunteer Program) with many active members. Donald also offers Creative Dramatics. Donald has a publishing company, “Dolphin Tales,” to assist students in taking their writing to the complete published stage. Donald Elementary received Gold Performance Acknowledgments from the Texas Education Agency in 2006-07 for: Attendance (2005-06); Commended on Reading/ELA, Writing, Mathematics and Science; and Comparable Improvement - Mathematics.
