Briarhill Middle School, which opened in 1995, offers a full continuum of educational opportunities for sixth through eighth grade students. Special populations are served through the Special Education, Gifted and Talented, and 504 programs. Briarhill has enjoyed a strong working relationship with the Briarhill PTA and community adopters. Every effort is made to recognize outstanding student and teacher achievement. Briarhill MS received Gold Performance Acknowledgments from the Texas Education Agency in 2006-07 for: Attendance (2005-06); Commended on Reading/ELA; Commended on Mathematics; Commended on Writing; and Commended on Social Studies. |
