	A Community of Voices in a Virtual Environment

An LISD teacher, certified and an expert in their field, teaches each one of the online courses offered in LISD. Classes are limited to the number of students just as in the regular class so the teacher can realistically interact with each student.
	Teachers who are interested in facilitating an LISD online course are required to have passed both Level I and Level II in the Teacher Competency program and they must maintain a current and active course related SchoolWeb site.
