Both BCIS Part A and B are required for the full 1 credit Recommendation: …Keyboarding - Office 2007 is required Students will learn and apply business ethics, computer theory, computer operations, and new emergent technology skills by mastering a software package that integrates word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, and desktop publishing. Students will also learn to responsibly utilize the Internet. Students complete the course with an intermediate level skill in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications. The online version of this course will be taught in two parts: Part A and Part B - each over 1 semester (18 weeks). Student must enroll in both to receive 1 full credit. Students can, however, take one part online and the second part in the regular seat class. A computer, internet access, and Microsoft Office 2007 is required.
