1. Download the Student contract
2. Submit the completed Student Contract to your campus counselor to register for online courses starting this fall.

US Government - Junior and Seniors only
Economics - Junior and Seniors only
Business Information Management (BIM) - 8th-12th
Health - 8th - 12th graders

LISD is proud to provide the students with the opportunity to participate in an online course as part of the high school experience. This program offers students a flexible, relevant and challenging alternative to complete a portion of their graduation requirements.VLA was developed to provide greater flexibility to students to schedule their study time and complete their courses.

Beginning with the 2009-2010 school year:

1. Grades are not available in esembler, you can view grades in VLA gradebook.

2. All VLA courses are offered as semester courses.

3. Pacing Guides will be provide to complete the course in a 9 and 15-week program to allow for flexibility in student schedules.

Students MUST provide VALID EMAIL addresses and PHONE numbers.

To withdraw from a VLA course, complete and submit the withdrawal request from the menu on the right.

The Texas Virtual School Network (TxVSN) will provide additional opportunities and options for Texas students through online courses. TxVSN was authorized by the Texas Legislature in 2007 to provide online courses to students in Texas.

Classes are currently offered for student in grades 9-12 only.
