Stipends available for qualifying teachers:
- $2,000 Qualifying Math, Science and Spanish Teachers
- $5,000 Licensed Psychologist
- $3,000 Speech Therapist
- $3,000 Visual Impaired/Orientation & Mobility
- $3,000 Special Education Consulting Teacher
- $3,000 Bilingual Teachers
- $3,000 Special Education Teacher (Qualifying areas are Transition Unit, SAC, Communication, Developmental, PPCD/Comm and In-Home Teacher
About Certification:
- A certified candidate eligible to attend the STJF is:
- currently holding a Standard, Provisional or Professional Texas Certification OR
- currently certified in another state OR
- currently completing an alternative certification internship year and eligible for a standard certificate.
- Individuals not eligible to attend the STJF:
- Alternative certification candidates eligible for a probationary certificate
- non-certified applicants
- Lewisville ISD does not offer Alternative Certification Internships
No exceptions will be made to the above eligibility requirements.
