How do I submit information to be included in LISD’s Flash Points e-mail newsletter?

What type of information can be included in Flash Points?
Flash Points includes many different types of information, from announcements of up-coming events to details about special accomplishments in the district. We encourage the submission of any information you think is noteworthy – even if we can’t find space for it in Flash Points, we may be able to include the item in one of our print publications.
If I submit an event announcement, how much information can I include?
The time, date, location and purpose of an event, along with a name and phone number or e-mail address of a contact person should be included. Information beyond that can be submitted, and if we have the space to include further information, we will. If a flier is included with your submission, we can provide a link for people to click on so they can read a more in-depth description of the event.
How far in advance can I send in my information?
Flash Points is distributed every Monday. Please send your information in by Wednesday of the week before you want the announcement to appear. The earlier your information is received, the more likely it is to be included in the newsletter.
Why didn’t my information appear in Flash Points?
Every effort is made to include all information submitted, but we don’t guarantee every submission we receive will appear in Flash Points.
