- Adrian Moreno (assistant principal, Flower Mound HS) and Brad Killingsworth (director, Career and Technical Education) received Distinguished Administrator Awards at the North Texas Technology Educators Association (NTTEA) banquet on Feb. 12. Jeff Wagley (teacher, Lewisville HS) was also honored as Teacher of the Year.
- Indian Creek Elementary held a blood drive on Feb. 15 and donated 21 units of blood. The donors were instrumental in saving the lives of 63 patients.
- Congratulations to these Special Education staff members who received Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) national certification, the highest standard for educational diagnosticians in the nation: Paula Adams, Shirlee Alexander, Dezra Edwards, Sharron Hudson, Donna Latson, Linda Pack, Robyn Rupard, Kathy Scheidt, Diana Schmittou, Jeanne Stevens, Wayne Trammell, Janet Elterman and Joe Hopson.
