Christina Minnis (science teacher, Parkway ES) won top honors in the American Art Clay Company's "Bottles of Hope" Designer's Challenge held at the Craft and Hobby Association convention on Feb. 12. Bottles of Hope seeks to increase cancer awareness by giving decorated chemotherapy bottles to cancer patients.

Julie Murdock's (art teacher, Marcus HS) son, Marcus HS graduate Mark Murdock, was named Mountain West Conference Male Diver of the Week for two consecutive weeks in January. He holds the conference one-meter high score this season and the fifth-highest score in University of Wyoming's history.

- Stephen Campbell (teacher / coach, Arbor Creek MS) is engaged to Stephanie Shield and they will marry on June 21. Stephen is the son of Debbie Campbell (teacher, Valley Ridge ES) and Mike Campbell (teacher / coach, Lewisville HS). Stephanie is the daughter of Deborah Shield (teacher, Central ES) and sister-in-law of Lynda Shield (teacher, Central ES).
