GED Test Preparation
Are you ready to get your GED? Need to brush up on your writing, social studies, math, science, and reading skills? Join us for this student-centered individualized class. Students will be tested during the first class meeting to determine class placement. Classes are held in the evenings at Milliken Education Center, 2103 Savage Lane in Lewisville. The official GED test is given
once each month at the
Lina Milliken Education Center, 2103 Savage
Lane, Lewisville. All tests
are on Saturdays from 7:45 AM - 5:30 PM with a lunch break. A
registration fee of $90 (cash, money order, or credit card) must be paid
at the time of registration. Registration deadline is noon on
Wednesday prior to the test date. You must pre-register for the
exam in person at the Community Education office, anytime between 8:30 a.m.
and
4:00
p.m. on regular business days. Registration takes approximately
45 minutes. You must bring your Texas Driver License (or other government
issued
photo ID). Please also bring your social security card for easier processing
of your exam application.

English as a Second Language
For adults who wish to learn or improve their speaking, reading, and writing skills in the English language, we offer English as a Second Language classes. These classes provide instruction in oral and written English for everyday use . Classes are held in the evenings at the Milliken Education Center, 2103 Savage Lane in Lewisville.
