Buddy Bonner, Central Zone Leader
Serving Lewisville High School Area Schools, Lillie Jackson Early Childhood Center, LLC and Night School
Mr. Bonner has served the students, parents and employees of the Lewisville Independent School District in a variety of roles since 1991. He began his LISD career as a language arts and social studies teacher at Milliken Middle School. Mr. Bonner went on to serve as a middle school assistant principal and principal and then, executive director of human resource services.
In July 2011, he was named Central Zone leader. In this role, he guides all schools in the Lewisville High School feeder pattern, Lillie J. Jackson Early Childhood Center, Lewisville Learning Center and Night High School.
Mr. Bonner received his Bachelor of Science degree in political science from the University of Texas at Tyler and Master of Educational Administration from the University of North Texas.
Mr. Bonner has two daughters who attend secondary schools in Lewisville ISD.
Rhonda Godbey, West Zone Leader
Serving Flower Mound High School and Edward S. Marcus High School Area Schools, JJAEP
Rhonda Godbey joined Lewisville ISD in 1992 as an English teacher and basketball/track coach at Marcus High School. Prior to joining the district, she served as an English accelerated teacher in Lubbock ISD and basketball/golf coach in Lamesa ISD. After working at Marcus High School for ten years as a teacher, coach and later assistant principal, she served in Human Resources where she worked for nine years with staffing, recruiting, training and assisting Employee Relations.
Mrs. Godbey earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, her Master’s Degree from The University of North Texas and her Superintendent’s certification from The University of North Texas. She and husband Scott two children who attend LISD schools.
Becky MacDonald, East Zone Leader
Serving The Colony High School and Hebron High School Area Schools, Career Center East and Dale Jackson Career Center
Becky MacDonald is beginning her 16th year with Lewisville ISD. For the last two years, she has served as the East Zone Leader, overseeing all campuses that feed into Hebron High School and The Colony High School. She served as Principal of The Colony High School before her current appointment. Prior to LISD, she served five years with Bryan ISD and 13 years with Frenship ISD.
She is a proud graduate of the University of Alabama. She earned her Masters Degree from Texas Tech University. Mrs. MacDonald and husband Scott are the parents of two daughters who both graduated from LISD schools.
