Andy Plunkett, Central Zone Leader

Andy Plunkett began his career in 1990 as an Agricultural Science teacher at Slaton High School in Slaton ISD, and then later moved to LISD to teach Agricultural Science at Lewisville High School. In 1997, he was named Assistant Principal and later Principal of the former Lewisville High School North (now Lewisville High School – Killough). During this time, he helped coordinate the design, move and opening of LHS – Killough and was named a LISD Assistant Principal of the Year Finalist. In 2005, Plunkett was named Principal of LHS – Killough.
Plunkett received his Bachelor of Science degree, Masters of Education Administration and Mid-Management Administrator Certification, all from Texas Tech University. He and his wife, Holly, a teacher at McAuliffe Elementary, reside in the LISD community. They have two sons: one, a senior in LISD, and the other attends Texas Tech University.
Rhonda Godbey, West Zone Leader
Serving Flower Mound High School and Marcus High School Area Schools, JJAEP
Rhonda Godbey joined Lewisville ISD (LISD) in 1992 as an English teacher and basketball/track coach at Marcus High School. Prior to joining LISD, she served as an English Accelerated teacher in Lubbock ISD and a basketball/golf coach in Lamesa ISD.
After working at Marcus High School for 10 years as a teacher, coach and later an Assistant Principal, she worked in Human Resource Services for nine years with staffing, recruiting, training and assisting Employee Relations.
In 2011, she was named West Zone Leader. In this role, she leads all schools in the Flower Mound High School and Marcus High School feeder patterns, as well as the Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program (JJAEP).
Mrs. Godbey earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, her Master’s degree from the University of North Texas and her Superintendent’s certification from the University of North Texas. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate degree. She and her husband, Scott, have two children who attend LISD schools.
Leigh Ann Lewis, East Zone Leader
Serving Hebron High School and The Colony High School Area Schools, Career Center East and Dale Jackson Career Center
Leigh Ann Lewis has been an integral member of Lewisville ISD (LISD) since 2001. She began her journey in LISD as an Assistant Principal at Huffines Middle School from 2001-2002, and then served as the Associate Principal at Marcus High School for nine years. In 2011, she was named Principal at Lamar Middle School, where she served until 2014.
In 2014, she was named East Zone Leader. In this role, she leads all schools in both the Hebron High School and The Colony High School feeder patterns, as well as Career Center East and Dale Jackson Career Center.
Mrs. Lewis received both her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and English and her Masters in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas. She and her husband, Dickey, are the proud parents of two sons who attend LISD schools.
