Lewisville ISD will recognize former Superintendent Dr. Stephen F. Waddell for his years of service to LISD and Texas public school children on Tuesday, Jan. 20 from 4-6 p.m. at Marcus High School 9th Grade Campus (5707A Morriss Road, Flower Mound). A formal presentation will begin at 5:15 p.m.
Lewisville ISD (LISD)'s Board of Trustees have called a Special Board Meeting Wednesday, Jan. 7 at Bolin Administrative Center (1565 W. Main Street, Lewisville) to meet with executive search firm Ray and Associates and discuss the next steps of LISD's Superintendent Search.
LISD's Child Nutrition Department has various full-time and part-time cafeteria positions available, and will be hosting a job fair Friday, Dec. 12, 3-6 p.m., in LISD's Student Service Building (400 West Main Street Lewisville). Computers will be available for applications to complete an application and interviews will be conducted on the spot.
LISD is currently accepting substitute applications for the 2014-2015 school year.
Lewisville ISD (LISD) today announced the appointment of Leslye Mitchell as the new Principal of Highland Village Elementary (HVE) beginning the 2014-2015 school year. She is succeeding Shawna Miller, who was recently named LISD’s Director of Professional Learning.
Lewisville ISD (LISD) today announced the appointment of Rebecca Clark as the new Principal of Lamar Middle School (LMS) starting the 2014-2015 school year. She is succeeding Leigh Ann Lewis, who was named East Zone Leader in May upon the retirement of Becky MacDonald.
During the May 19 Lewisville ISD (LISD) Board of Trustees meeting, LISD named Jeff Crownover as the district’s new Human Resources (HR) Administrator/Ombudsman effective immediately.
