LISD Board of Trustees Announces Superintendent Lone Finalist

During a called Special Board Meeting on April 27, the Lewisville ISD (LISD) Board of Trustees unanimously approved naming LISD current Interim Superintendent and Chief Operations Officer Dr. Kevin Rogers as the lone finalist for LISD’s Superintendent to serve the district’s nearly 53,000 students and more than 6,500 staff members.

LISD Superintendent Search Survey

The Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees invite the community to provide input on the qualities desired in its new Superintendent of Schools. All are welcomed to participate in this survey, which will close on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 11:30 p.m. Read on to take the survey.

You're Invited to Dr. Waddell's Retirement Reception Tuesday, Jan. 20

Lewisville ISD will recognize former Superintendent Dr. Stephen F. Waddell for his years of service to LISD and Texas public school children on Tuesday, Jan. 20 from 4-6 p.m. at Marcus High School 9th Grade Campus (5707A Morriss Road, Flower Mound). A formal presentation will begin at 5:15 p.m.

LISD Child Nutrition Department Job Fair - Dec. 12

LISD's Child Nutrition Department has various full-time and part-time cafeteria positions available, and will be hosting a job fair Friday, Dec. 12, 3-6 p.m., in LISD's Student Service Building (400 West Main Street Lewisville). Computers will be available for applications to complete an application and interviews will be conducted on the spot.

Lewisville ISD Announces New Lamar Middle School Principal

Lewisville ISD (LISD) today announced the appointment of Rebecca Clark as the new Principal of Lamar Middle School (LMS) starting the 2014-2015 school year. She is succeeding Leigh Ann Lewis, who was named East Zone Leader in May upon the retirement of Becky MacDonald.
