LISD January Board Meeting Recap

After honoring the Board for their dedicated support of LISD students, school and community, marching bands from Marcus High School (MHS) and Hebron High School (HHS) were recognized for their state contest wins. In November, the bands swept UIL State Marching Band Contest Conference 5A Finals, respectively placing first and second. This was the fourth consecutive first-place win for MHS – a first in UIL history in any conference. The MHS and HHS accomplishments also make LISD the second school district in UIL history to have its bands place one and two in the state competition. (Full Story)
