Lewisville ISD students and staff benefit every day from the diligent work and countless hours dedicated by our School Board of Trustees. These seven public servants are elected to serve by local constituents and receive no compensation for their efforts. In an effort to say thank you, the district will designate January as School Board Recognition Month. |

LISD Engages Communities by Launching News Sites
Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) is excited to announce a new way to communicate with its 52,000 students, parents, staff and community partners. On Jan. 9, the district is launching daily news blogs that will focus on news and information for all schools by the high school feeder pattern. To cultivate pride in the district, they will be called by the high school mascot name, followed by “Pride Daily”. |

Fitch Assigns LISD Series 2012 Bonds "AAA" Rating
Fitch Ratings has assigned an ‘AAA’ rating to the Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) $29.6 million school building bonds, series 2012. The ‘AAA’ long-term rating is based on a guaranty provided by the Texas Permanent School Fund, whose Insurer Financial Strength is also rated ‘AAA’ by Fitch. Additionally, the firm assigned an ‘AA+’ underlying rating to the series 2012 bonds and affirms the ‘AA+’ rating on the district’s outstanding bonds. |

LISD Announces New Principal at Coyote Ridge Elementary School Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) is proud to announce the appointment of Michele Jacobsen as the new principal at Coyote Ridge Elementary School. The LISD School Board approved her appointment Monday night. |
